This listing is for an elegant looking glass coffee pot. This vintage Colony coffee carafe is designed to sit prettily on a candle warmer base. I believe it comes from the 1960s. • Carafe measures about 9 ¾”tall and has a 5 ½” diameter at bottom • Warmer base measures 3 ½” high by about 6” in diameter • Carafe is designed with a black handle & lid (plastic? composite?) • Lid has a ribbed chrome accent piece on top • A wide band of chrome (about 3 ¼” tall at front center) wraps around top of carafe • Glass carafe is decorated with a silver wheat pattern • Inside pot near top is a stamped/printed brick shape that says "Heatproof", "Colony" & "Made in USA" • Warmer base is made of chrome & has an open well to hold the candle • The included candle sets inside a black metal receptacle in the open well • Very good to excellent condition with the following noted: o ~ Lid is removable but attaches securely; opens & closes easily o ~ No chips or cracks present o ~ An occasional light surface mark on pot & base o ~ Lid has several tiny scratches & pinpoint divots on top o ~ Candle is partially burned This coffee carafe is so pretty! It’s so reminiscent of buffet dinners or after dinner coffee with dessert or even neighborhood coffee klatches. Why not bring this pretty pot out of retirement and invite it to your next get together?
