Exquisite Quality in Every Detail Our Hagama pot exemplifies precision and superior craftsmanship. It is forged from high-grade iron, celebrated for its consistent heating and exceptional heat retention, ensuring impeccably cooked rice each time. The pot's brilliance is further accentuated by a genuine cedar lid, intricately shaped and finished to perfection, offering both aesthetic beauty and an aromatic touch to the rice. Legacy of Nambu Tekki Craftsmanship This pot isn't just a cooking instrument; it's a piece of art bearing the legacy of Nambu Tekki ironwork. Each pot embodies centuries of dedication, skills, and traditions from Iwate. It's a culmination of artistry, passion, and attention to detail that has been preserved and passed down through generations. With this pot, you're not just cooking rice; you're becoming a part of a rich historical tapestry. How to Use a Hagama Rice Pot Begin by washing the rice. Rinse it multiple times until the water runs clear. Add rice to the pot. For every 180ml cup of rice, you'll need 210ml of water. Remember, the maximum capacity is 3 cups of rice. Pour the required amount of water into the pot with the rice. Allow the rice and water to sit for 30 minutes without heating. After letting it sit, place the pot on a burner and heat on medium fire with the lid on for 15 minutes. As soon as you see steam escaping, allow it to do so for 20 seconds and then turn off the heat. Leave the lid on and let the rice continue to steam for another 15 minutes. Finally, remove the lid. Your rice is now ready to serve. Enjoy!
