Vintage Pyrex clear glass 4-cup coffee percolator pot, with all of the interior parts, including the glass stem, glass basket, and aluminum basket base and cover, and the original clear glass lid cover, made in USA in the 1950s. The 775x series of flameware coffee percolators are some of the most popular and recognizable pieces of flameware around. Pyrex made this coffee pots percolators from 1952 through the 60s - they made this 4 cup (7754), 6 cup (7756) and 9 cup (7759) variety of this pyrex percolator but they all have the same design. This flameware coffee cup percolator is the 7754-B. The clear glass lid is the 77-C. This huge percolator has a larger and circular top lid flange knob (as opposed to smaller and “vertical” in the earlier models). This particular model features a waterline for 2 and 4 cups of coffee, etched in one side. This mid-century perculator is made of flameware tempered glass and has a stainless steel band that holds the handle in place (band can be removed for cleaning). Filter basket has glass center with aluminum top & bottom. Top just rests on glass center, bottom has 4 prongs that secure glass piece. Embossed logo on bottom read from inside: "7754-B" - " 4 CUP" (Flameware logo?) " ®" - "MADE IN U.S.A." - "F" Metal band is engraved: "STAINLESS" (flame logo over) "PYREX" - "7754" Glass handle has embossed lettering on one side beneath where band is attached: "77-H" -"A-12" On the other side of the handle has embossed: "PYREX ®" Lid has embossed lettering along outside of inner lip: "PYREX ®" - "77-C" - "C-4" Glass stem bottom marked: "PYREX ®" Aluminum bottom is marked: "PAT NO 2204158" There is no instruction manual with this item but its very easy to find in internet how to use it. This very stylish big percolator pot, with all parts in place, makes a terrific cup of coffee. NOTE: Do not use this product on an electric coil stovetop without a heavy gauge wire heat spreader or it could shatter. MEASUREMENTS Height (with lid): 17 cm Diameter (widest part): 12,5 cm Weight: 1050 gr CONDITION Everything else is in excelent condition with no chips, fleabites or cracks in any of the glass parts and light wear. This piece has no repairs and it is complete, clean, shiny and beautiful. The glass looks nice and clear and doesn't has that hazy appearance that comes from dishwasher use. The rust on the head of the bolts and under the metal band was cleaned. Some scuffs or scratches in the pot particularly in the bottom. Fantastic overall.
